Hmm they must have used the same dyno that JR used when JR used to claim that the base jrsc kit on a type R yields 240whp (or something like that).

One thing we supercharged users have to remember is that these "frequency impulses" on intakes that create more effecient cylinder filling on naturally aspirated cars do not work on ours due to the supercharger. The blades of the blower cancels out freq waves in or out of the engine through the intake stream, even in bypass mode.

So unless CFM is increased by these kits, there claimed "gimicks" won't work on us.

I spoke to an AEM engineer at the SEMA show... he said that the new V2 system would NOT be beneficial to a Supercharged engine. It is designed for N/A applications only.
